ПОЛИТИКА ИСПОЛЬЗОВАНИЯ ФАЙЛОВ COOKIE
Bitcitizen LLC
Last updated: February 2026
This Policy explains how Bitcitizen LLC uses tracking technologies on the Bitcitizen website (bitcitizen.io) and any related pages (collectively, the "Website").
This Policy is part of the Bitcitizen legal framework, which also includes our Terms of Service, Legal Disclaimer, and Privacy Policy. As set forth in Section 2 of the Terms of Service, this Policy controls for all matters relating to these technologies. If there is any inconsistency between this Policy and the Terms of Service or Legal Disclaimer regarding these matters, this Policy controls. Section 10 of the Privacy Policy provides a summary of our practices; this Policy provides the detailed information referenced there.
Where consent is required under applicable law, we will set non-essential items only after you take an affirmative action (for example, clicking "Accept" in the consent banner). By clicking "Accept" (or enabling a category), you consent to our use as described in this Policy. You can change or withdraw your preferences at any time as described in Section 6.
1. What Are These Technologies?
Small text files are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to improve functionality, and to provide information to website operators.
They can be "first-party" (set by the website you are visiting) or "third-party" (set by a domain other than the website you are visiting). They can also be "session" (which expire when you close your browser) or "persistent" (which remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them).
In addition, we and our service providers may use similar technologies such as pixel tags (also known as web beacons or clear GIFs), local storage, and tracking scripts.
2. How We Obtain Your Consent
When you first visit the Website, you are presented with a consent banner powered by Wix's built-in consent tool. The banner allows you to:
- Accept all.
- Manage your preferences by category (essential, analytics, marketing/functional).
- Reject non-essential items.
Essential items (described in Section 4.1) are always active because they are necessary for the Website to function. Non-essential items (analytics, marketing, and functional) are only set after you provide consent, unless they fall under an applicable legal exemption.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom (UK), or another jurisdiction that requires prior consent for non-essential items, non-essential items will not be set until you affirmatively consent through the banner.
3. Categories We Use
We organize items on the Website into categories based on their purpose. The consent banner provides the most current details by category.
Essential â Required for the Website to function. These enable core features such as page navigation, security, and access to secure areas. The Website cannot operate properly without these. Consent required: No (strictly necessary).
Analytics â Help us understand how visitors interact with the Website by collecting information about pages visited, time spent, traffic sources, and navigation patterns. This data is used to improve the Website. Consent required: Yes.
Marketing / CRM â Used to track visitors across sessions, manage leads, personalize marketing communications, and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. Consent required: Yes.
Functional â Enable enhanced functionality such as live chat, embedded scheduling tools, and social media integration. The Website may function without these, but certain features may be unavailable. Consent required: Yes.
4. Items Used on the Website
The information below provides examples of technologies that may be used on the Website. Names and behaviors may change as Wix updates its services and as features/settings are enabled or disabled. For the most current information, review the details available through the consent banner on the Website.
4.1 Essential Items
These are set by Wix (our website platform) and are required for the Website to function. They cannot be disabled.
XSRF-TOKEN (Wix) â Security token used to prevent cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks. Duration: Session.
hs (Wix) â Security item used for session management and authentication. Duration: Session.
svSession (Wix) â Identifies unique visitors and tracks site sessions for login and security purposes. Duration: 2 years.
SSR-caching (Wix) â Indicates how the site was rendered (server-side rendering cache indicator). Duration: 1 minute.
_wixCIDX (Wix) â Internal Wix item used for system monitoring and debugging. Duration: 3 months.
_wix_browser_sess (Wix) â Temporary session item used for internal site operations. Duration: Session.
consent-policy (Wix) â Stores your consent preferences (which categories you accepted or rejected). Duration: 12 months.
4.2 Analytics Items
These are used, where enabled, to collect information about how visitors use the Website. We use this data to understand general usage patterns and improve content, navigation, performance, and user experience. You can manage analytics preferences through the consent banner.
_wixUIDX (Wix) â Identifies unique visitors across sessions for Wix's built-in analytics and visitor tracking. Duration: 3 months.
_wixAB3 (Wix) â Used for A/B testing to optimize site performance and content presentation. Duration: 6 months.
4.3 Marketing / CRM Items
We use Wix's built-in forms to collect name and email address on a voluntary basis, which may be stored in our CRM/contact management system for responding to you and managing leads. We do not currently set third-party marketing/advertising items on the Website. If we enable marketing items or advertising pixels in the future, we will update this Policy and request your consent through the consent banner.
4.4 Functional Items
These enable enhanced Website features (for example, embedded tools, widgets, or third-party integrations). We do not currently use third-party live chat or embedded scheduling tools on the Website. If we enable additional functional tools in the future, any associated items will be disclosed through the consent banner and this Policy will be updated as needed.
Social Media Pixels and Embeds: The Website may contain outbound links to Bitcitizen's social media profiles and, in some cases, may include embedded content from third-party platforms. If you interact with embedded content, that third party may set items on your device and/or collect information. Any such processing is governed by the third party's own privacy policies:
- LinkedIn: linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy
- Instagram/Meta: privacycenter.instagram.com/policy
- X: x.com/en/privacy
5. Other Tracking Technologies
5.1 Pixel Tags and Web Beacons
If you choose to receive emails from us (for example, after requesting a PDF or opting in to updates), our email platform may use standard technologies such as tracking pixels to measure deliverability and engagement (for example, whether an email was opened or a link was clicked). You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us at contact@bitcitizen.io.
5.2 Local Storage
Some features on the Website may use your browser's local storage (similar but stored differently) to preserve settings or preferences across sessions. Local storage items are subject to the same consent framework where required by applicable law.
6. How to Manage Your Preferences
6.1 Consent Banner
When you first visit the Website, the Wix consent banner allows you to accept all, reject non-essential, or customize your preferences by category. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the settings link in the footer of the Website (or, if a footer link is not available, by clearing your browser data for bitcitizen.io and revisiting the Website, which will re-display the consent banner).
6.2 Browser Settings
Most browsers allow you to control these through their settings. You can typically:
- View what is stored on your device.
- Delete individual items or clear all.
- Block all or only third-party items.
- Configure settings on a per-site basis.
Instructions for managing in common browsers:
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security
- Safari: Settings > Privacy > Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings > Site permissions
Please note that blocking or deleting may affect your experience on the Website. Some features may not function as intended if essential items are blocked.
6.3 Managing Analytics and Marketing Preferences
If analytics or marketing items are enabled, you can change or withdraw consent at any time using the settings link in the Website footer (or by reopening the consent banner). You can also manage through browser settings as described above.
6.4 Email Preferences
If you receive marketing emails from us, you can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in the email. You may continue to receive non-marketing messages that are necessary to provide requested information or Services (for example, transactional or service-related communications).
7. "Do Not Track" Signals
Consistent with Section 13 of the Privacy Policy, the Website does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" (DNT) browser signals, as there is no universally accepted standard for interpreting them. You can manage tracking through the consent banner and browser settings described in Section 6.
8. International Considerations
If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, the consent banner is configured to require affirmative opt-in consent before setting non-essential items, in compliance with the ePrivacy Directive (Directive 2002/58/EC, as amended), the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), and related national implementing laws.
Data collected may be processed in the United States and other countries where Bitcitizen and/or our service providers operate (including Wix). Where applicable, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers as described in our Privacy Policy (see the section on International Data Transfers).
If you are a California resident, please refer to Section 9.3 of the Privacy Policy for information about your rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Bitcitizen does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by the CPRA. If our practices change, we will provide any required opt-out mechanisms.
9. How Long Do They Last?
The duration of each item is listed in the descriptions in Section 4. Session items expire when you close your browser. Persistent items remain on your device for the duration specified or until you delete them. Analytics data is retained in accordance with the retention periods described in Section 6 of the Privacy Policy (Data Retention).
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the items we use, our service providers, or applicable legal requirements. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will update the consent banner to re-prompt for consent where required by applicable law.
This is consistent with the change provisions in Section 25 of the Terms of Service and Section 14 of the Privacy Policy.
